I GOT MY HAIR CUT!!!

I've been wanting it cut for a while, but just had
no time. It's about 2 inches shorter than
I wanted, but she did a super cute job with the
layers. It's so curly now! Definitely
needed a change!

Rhode Island: Providence & Baptist Conference

Adam's quartet & I had the privilege to travel
to Providence, Rhode Island to help
in a Baptist History Conference that Mr. Crichton
was holding for all the New England Pastors.
Pastor Sexton was the guest speaker
and He spoke on our heritage and the First Century church.
It was wonderful!

The guys practicing for the meeting...

The water-fire show in Providence....

The whole city was so old looking. It was beautiful!

The capital building...

Adam and I... :)

Rhode Island: Working in the Meeting..continued

Adam's quartet had the privilege of being
the special music for this meeting, and
I had the opportunity to play the piano for
the meeting.

Getting ready for the first meeting!

Inside the church...the pews were boxed
in with a latch and numbered.

The pulpit was soooo high!

Working at the table we set up...

Working the TV to show the Crown College DVD.

Rhode Island: Baptist Conference...continued

We were able to climb the steeple (which
no one gets to do any more). It
was extremely high! I didn't go as far as
Adam...way to scared.

This is a view from the window in the steeple.

The church...so neat! Built in 1775

The architecture was absolutely beautiful!

The quartet...they did an awesome job this week!

It was incredible at night.

~God did an awesome work there, and
we were so blessed to be a part
of something so great! It changed our
lives, and is continuing to do so.

God's work is so much bigger than we
could ever realize or imagine. Every
now and then he gives us a glimpse,
but what He asks of us is to
follow as He leads. His way is always
best! ALWAYS!!

Monday: In Orlando

Starting off our first day out on the town!

I love him!!!! So handsome!

So he decided to run under the water....
I think people thought
that I was watching over him that day!

We went into this old fashioned diner,
Jonny Rockets, to have
their famous milkshakes.

Butterfinger milkshake....YUM!!!

It was delicious!!!!

Now off to Disney villiage!!!!!
The second half of our day was spent
at Disney Village, which is so
much fun just to walk around.

We gained a LOT of weight ;)

This is soooo true and fits perfectly!

He HAD to get a picture with
the lego made buzz.
It's so cool how they make all the
characters from legos!

We found bride and groom hats...love this!

At the end of the day, we had dinner, and as we
were leaving, we found this heart in the
pavement.

Tuesday: Magic Kingdom

Entering Disney's main park!!!

It was so exciting for Adam (being his first
time), and it was exciting for me
to share in his first time being there!!!

The character parade...

Us in front of the castle...I LOVE our shirts!
I had Minnie on mine, and his has
mickey on his.

It was a rainy day so we got rain coats
and every one loved our
characters on them...they spent
$15 for plain ones, & we spent $4 for cool ones! ;)

We stayed for the night parade, fireworks, and
castle show (which I have never seen
even all the times I've been there). It was so
AMAZING and beautiful!

What a WONDERFUL DAY!!!

Thursday: Universal Studios!!!

Today was our Universal Studios Day!!!

The entrance...

We both were stopped and asked to taste
the new Keurig coffee brand coming
out, and we got $10 total Universal money!
It was AMAZING too!!!

I bought us M&M shirts for the park
today, and everyone loved them :)

For lunch, we split this turkey leg. It was a
monster!!! We were both extremely full
after we ate it. We felt like animals ;0)

I love Lucy, so we went in the Lucy museum
there. It was really neat!

*Fun, Fun day, but very tiring...

More: Friday & Saturday

On Friday, we left Orlando and drove up the East
Coast. On the way up, we stopped in
St. Augustine to see the lighthouse and the fort.

This is Fort Augustine...It was sooo cool.
We walked all around and went
inside. There were many old cannons, and
the soldiers quarters were very
interesting.

On Friday evening, Adam surprised
me with a stop in Savannah, GA
to eat at Paula Deen's restaurant.

It was DELICIOUS!!

On Saturday, we spent the day on Hilton Head
walking on the beach, going in the shops
and visiting the lighthouse there.

We had such a wonderful time and were able
to do soooo much!

~Thank you, Adam, for a WONDERFUL week!!!
