Week 7

On the way to church in the back seat
of the Pastor's car.

Daniel and I at the lighthouse...

Lighthouses are so beautiful. This picture is amazing!

I got to sit in one of the awesome cars at the car show.

It's me and my lobster, Louie ;)

Random Shots from Week 6

Each one of us guys got the privilege to preach
at one of the churches. We had 7 minutes each.
If you go to sermon.net and type in crown college,
a list will come up and click on 6-13-2010
Calvary Baptist Church. You will be able to listen...

We had a long hard day of work at one of the churches....

We chopped and stacked all that wood and it's not
just what you see. There are many more rows
behind all that. Long Day!

A nice picture of our group.

D. L. Moody

We got to visit the birthplace of D. L. Moody
and also some of his things....

Our group outside his house...

With a picture of Mr. Moody in the back...

I got to sit at his desk....

The "Crichton Kick" at D. L. Moody's pulpit.

We had a great time there. It was really neat
to see his things and learn all the history around it.
We also visited his grave site.

Paying the Piano: For Mom and Dad

Here's some different pictures of me playing....

We sang for a lady at an Assisted Living Home.
She was 100 years old and loved to play the piano.

I got to play the piano for people at a little town
cafe in Montana...the piano was very old.

Playing at a church service for the girls singing....

Being a cowgirl playing the piano...hehe :)

Hoped you liked those Mom and Dad since you
don't get to see me play.
I love you!!!!

Random Pictures from the Indian Reservations

There were so many cool things on the Indian Reservations....

Cowboy making pineapple upside-down cake
the old western way...

The end result...and it was AMAZING!!

Us four with the beautiful snowcapped mountains
in the background.

All of us with Harold Vaughn and his wife
in a small gold mining village of 7 people...

We met a real Indian and got to sing to him.

We met him at Sacajawea's grave where many
Indians were buried. It's very sad because
they believe in leaving gifts at each tombstone
for their loved one to use in their journey
after death.

In Montana

Montana was beautiful and here are some random
shots from our meetings and things
we got to do....

Singing an a capella piece in our hideous outfits.

Me accompanying the trio...

The beautiful mountains in Glacier National Park.

Singing in the Lodge at the Park.

Yellowstone

We are now entering Yellowstone!!!
WOOHOO!!

This is the sign going into the park....

It was SNOWING!!! I was soooo cold.
There was at least 2 feet of snow, and it was pretty.

From freezing to hot springs...these were so beautiful with
all the colors that are created from it being hot.
175 f*....This is just one of the thousands at the park.

Buffalo with her babies...we came up on a herd of
them with about thirty or forty of them.

Yellowstone II

It was so big, and we didn't have enough time
to see it all. But there is more...

Old Faithful!!! It was really cloudy
so it was hard to see, but it was awesome.

A shedding elk...kinda gross.

Grand Canyon of Yellowstone with a waterfall
at the end of it. It was breathtaking!

These are the Grand Teton Mountains. It was amazing!

Being Cowgirls for a Day

So once we got into Wyoming, EVERYONE was
a cowboy or cowgirl. Therefore, we had
to fit into the mold :)

This was in one of the hat stores...

We each got our own hat and became cowgirls.
This is at Jackson, Wyoming during their
Memorial Day Parade. Everything was
western...it reminded me of the movies.

Monday night, we went to the Bar J Wranglers
which is the five men behind us who sing old cowboy songs
and play their guitars, mandolins, fiddles, and many
other stringed instruments. After, our group sang
to them and they loved it. It was soooo cool!
We each got a CD of the old songs and they all
signed it for us...
Wyoming is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!!
